Across 18 randomised trials in people with sleep disorders, traditional Chinese mind-body exercise improved outcomes: tai chi combined with transcranial magnetic stimulation ranked best for sleep quality, while tai chi and Baduanjin both significantly improved quality of life.

What it shows: Decent but messy evidence: pooled results from 18 trials where people were assigned at random, and the trials disagreed with each other on how big the benefits were.
