
A meta-analysis of 14 randomised trials in 626 healthy adults found whey protein paired with resistance exercise increased lean body mass by 2.24 kg, while using whey to replace other calories was linked with a 4.20 kg drop in body weight and a 3.74 kg drop in body fat from baseline.
