Hemp protein is made from hemp seeds and comes with fibre and some omega fats, giving it a nutritional appeal beyond protein alone. However, it is lower in leucine and lysine and less concentrated than isolates, so gram for gram it is a weaker muscle-building protein.
There is little direct muscle-outcome research on hemp specifically. It is a fine contributor to overall protein and fibre intake, but for maximising muscle a more complete source or a pea/rice blend is a better primary choice.
