Cordyceps
Silver· human dataAlso known as: Cordyceps militaris, Cordyceps sinensis
A medicinal mushroom marketed for oxygen use and endurance, with weak human data.
Cordyceps is a medicinal mushroom long used in traditional practice and now marketed to improve oxygen use, aerobic capacity and endurance.
Human trials are limited and inconsistent: a few suggest small improvements in aerobic markers, particularly in older or untrained people, while others show nothing in trained athletes. Treat the endurance claims as unproven rather than established.
